AFEX Group maintains a fleet of trucks and other vehicles located throughout Kenya and Sudan. We operate three of our own trucks with approximately 50 tons total capacity per week for our and other agencies cargo from Nairobi to Lokichoggio, Kenya, and we also truck dry goods directly from Nairobi to Juba. We also source construction materials from Kampala, Uganda, and truck these north into South Sudan.
Our extensive dry and refrigerated stores, transport and logistics team in Loki provide the substantial and necessary platform to support our operations in Southern Sudan. We have a fleet of 4x4 cargo trucks that serve our operations along the Narus/Juba corridor, as well as weekly air charters to both Rumbek and Juba. Additionally, we have purchasing and expediting capacity in Khartoum in support of our Malakal, Kauda and Juba contracts for Mechem and Ronco (de-mining operations).
Our fleet of trucks consist of the following:
- Two (2) Isuzu cargo trucks, each approximately 10 tons gross vehicle weight
- One (1) Mercedes truck and trailer with a total cargo capacity of 32 tons
- One (1) Isuzu ten ton refrigerator/freezer truck
- Two (2) MAN trucks
- Seven (7) Mercedes 911 trucks
- Various Toyota Landcruiser wagons and pick-up trucks |
