AFEX offers an extensive range of construction solutions for permanent or temporary structures, civil works, and other infrastructure projects. We provide a range of design and build services, examining our Client’s requirements in detail, in order to draw up a performance specification, and initial and detailed design, plus full materials specification. 

We also work from Client designs, offering full project management and value engineering service, identifying options and alternatives to reduce the total build cost for our clients. 

AFEX offers a turnkey “Design Build” service, relying as little as possible on third party sub-contractors, in order to provide streamlined and efficient project management and construction services to our clients. We usually operate and maintain the camps we build on behalf of our clients, ensuring the client receives full economic value from his investment during the life-cycle of the camp or facility.

AFEX partners with clients to define requirements and devise design solutions, in a process that can take many months before contract execution. Unlike many of our competitors, AFEX invests time and resources in project design services for our customers. Our close partnership means we are often asked to design, build, and then operate the client’s facility.

AFEX can provide fast-track assembly and erection of tented camps and pre-fabricated / pre-engineered structures, ensuring rapid mobilization in the field, and an early start to your project. 

We are also skilled and experienced in planning and designing warehouses and camp storage areas, particularly food storage areas sited in optimal proximity to kitchen and catering facilities.

Kapese Village Camp Construction

The 400-capacity facility was constructed using a combination of prefabricated buildings and steel structure dining facilities.
